Well first blog and was lost at what to write about. I will tell you this it will mostly be for gardening, but you can bet you will get bits and pieces of other things I am into. This thing is neat as filling out my personal info or that "about me" stuff I got asked a random question. Well I answered it and then it told me it was too long. I couldn't find a way to make it shorter, but I really liked it so I thought I would place it on here:
The children are waiting! Please tell them the story about the bald frog with the wig:
So I ran across Mr. frog one day and he was very very sad. I asked him Mr. frog why such a sad look on your face? He answered, "oh my dear I've run into some terrible trouble." I asked "well good sir what kind?" He answered shamefully "well when I was a baby frog I found a very sharp rock sitting on the corner of the swamp and i cut my finger on it." Confused I asked "well what does that have to do with your sadness today, does it still hurt?" He smirked "No, it don't hurt, but you see I thought back then that maybe I could cut my hair with that rock, because it was growing very spikey and people would laugh at me. Other baby frogs wouldn't play with me. So I cut it." Still confused I asked "well that should have made you happy. Why are you sad today so many years later?" He then told me how when he went home his mother was upset with what he had done to his hair. She yelled, and she cried and then she finally decided to cut off ALL his hair to teach him a lesson. Then he went on and said "so you see my friend, now I'm more ashamed of my head then what I was before because I have no hair at all!" He began to sob and I was devistated at how sad he was over his hair. I could tell it really bothered him so I said " Mr. Frog I have just the solution, but only if you listen closely." So he did and I followed "If you feel that hair will make you a happier frog then I will give you a wig to wear, but I want you to think about how you were not happy with hair and how you still weren't happy without hair. Is it really the hair that bothers you or does it bother somebody else?" He stayed quiet and I continued, " I don't think it's about the hair, but about you Mr. Frog, you have to be happy with yourself and love YOU. Don't worry about what the other frogs are saying about you as long as you show them who you are they will see that you are a very kind and smart frog and they will love you as I do." With that said I stuck out my hand and offered Mr. Frog a wig. He looked at it long and hard and without speaking a word he jumped up with joy and took the wig and put it back in my bag and kissed me. He said "Thank you so kindly my friend you have made me a very happy frog for no one has spoke such sweet words to me. I will remember this forever and I will be happy and in love with myself and the world. Thank you so so much!" With that Mr. Frog turned and hopped along off into the sunset and he lived happily ever after.
